Workshops Friday Oct. 6th

During the Plant Apothecary Pop-up Shop in Comber, we will be hosting a number of evening terrarium workshops. These workshops are £50 per person and include building your terrarium with all the tools necessary whilst enjoying tea, coffee, and a selection of freshly made tray bakes. We offer a wide range of crystals, stones, moss, miniature houses, and other types of figurines to decorate your terrariums. Each workshop will have a curated collection of plants that we have chosen because they work well and grow well together to ensure that your terrarium is the best it can be!In each workshop you will be taught the interesting history of terrariums, how they work, and how to build them on your own. you leave the workshop with a leaflet of information that tells you how to look after your new terrarium, what is inside your jar, and also everything you need to know to recreate this on your own.

Each workshop has ten people. Our workshops can be enjoyed by all but we believe people over 10 will enjoy this the most.

Workshops T&C’s

We will fully refund your workshop ticket if you cannot attend but kindly ask you give us 24 hours notice for your cancellation to give us time to fill your seat.

If you do not provide notice of your cancellation within 5 hours of the workshop, your ticket is NOT refundable.

Refunds through the website payment system take 1-3 days to post in your bank account. Please allow us up to 24 hours to process your refund.

If you need to change your ticket to a different workshop, please give us 24 hours notice. If the workshop you’d prefer is full, we will try to make a seat for you or offer you a full refund. Date changes will not be accepted within 5 hours of the booked workshop.

When arriving at the workshop, all we need to know is the name the ticket was booked under so we can tick it off the list.

Plant Apothecary workshops are suitable for all but we think they are best enjoyed and understood by those over the age of 10. We ask that all children be accompanied by an adult at the workshop (we’ll have a chair for you if you are not participating).

Accessibility: Comber Pop Up Shop has no stairs but the entryway door is a standard width manual open door with a small 8cm step up into the space. If you require door measurements, feel free to message us. Typed out copies of the entire workshop are available for hearing impaired. Workshop leaflets are printed with dyslexia friendly fonts.

Comber Pop Up Shop does not have bathroom facilities. We do have a sink for pre and post workshop hand washing. soap and nail brushes are provided.

Tea, coffee, and tray bakes are provided with your workshop. Filtered coffee and instant americano coffees will be available as well as brewed tea and decaf tea tea bags. Sugar and artificial sweetener are provided. We only have dairy milk available for tea and coffee, let us know if you need an alternative available. The tray bakes and biscuits provided are a mix of homemade and store bought. Vegan and vegetarian options are available. If you are gluten free, let us know and we can provide an alternative. All Plant Apothecary events are nut free due to personal allergies. If you have any allergies, please let us know so we can accommodate.
